Fire Life Safety Sytem Testing

Dear valued tenants and partners of LUMEN WestLA,

 We are emailing to inform you that the annual testing of LUMEN's Fire Life Safety Systems, as required by the Los Angeles Fire Department (more commonly known as Reg4 testing) has been scheduled for December 2nd, 3rd and 4th.  This test is completed annually and is a requirement of the City of Los Angeles.  The testing will result in intermittent alarm activations, power and lighting interruptions and temporary interruptions to elevator service.  Automatic door closures, fire exit signs, and various fire life safety systems throughout the property will be thoroughly tested.  Impacts to the HVAC system, stairwell pressurization and smoke removal systems, may also be noticed.  

 Be advised that while the testing at the property will begin at 4pm, any tenant premises impact (alarms, power interruptions, etc) to your spaces will not commence until 6pm on the dates noted above.  A full walk thru will be conducted of the sprinkler system, so our engineering team will be escorting LAFD-certified personnel throughout all areas of the property (offices, closets, stairwells, common areas, restrooms, hallways, parking, etc).

 We recommend that tenants NOT be at the property from 6pm to midnight on the dates noted above and that your IT team make the preparations and accommodations needed for the power interruptions.
